We took over Two Hands Austin during SXSW’s opening weekend with an interactive activation that brings to life the conversations and recommendations happening in Reddit’s most influential communities. Our weekend culminated in a launch celebration of Reddit Pro with a panel conversation at our event HQ. Roxy Young chatted with NASA’s Social Media Manager Stephanie L. Smith, r/NFL moderator u/440k, and Dentsu’s EVP, Head of Innovation & US Media Partnerships, Sarah Stringer. They discussed the evolving online ecosystem and why organic community engagement is key to unlocking business success.

One key takeaway for all businesses ready to get access to Reddit Pro’s free suite of tools? Lurk and learn. Check out panel highlight video below:

This is just the beginning of Reddit Pro! This new suite of tools is in its beta test phase as we continue to innovate and strengthen the offering, and learn from our partners, over the coming months. Watch this space for more information on additional features to be rolled out this year. For now, Reddit Pro is available to businesses and organizations via a first-come, first-serve basis.
