Ulta saw purchases increase and achieved a greater return on investment by implementing Reddit’s Dynamic Product Ads during the peak holiday shopping season.

Ulta Beauty is a prominent beauty retailer in the United States, known for offering a wide range of beauty products and services. The company operates both online and through its brick-and-mortar stores, providing customers with access to a diverse selection of cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrance products. 

The retailer came to Reddit looking to strengthen their position as the authority in the beauty industry and expand their reach and appeal to new audiences.

Ulta Beauty used Reddit’s newest ecomm advertising solution - Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) - to automatically and dynamically promote their entire product catalog. Reddit’s underlying DPA Machine Learning (ML) engine then selected which products to serve in which ad slots to which redditors, to great success. 

DPA aligned with Reddit’s prospecting and retargeting significantly improved Ulta’s lower funnel performance.
