Kaspersky is a global cybersecurity and antivirus provider whose products are made to protect users from malware, ransomware, phishing, and more. Kaspersky’s Digital Media Team was looking to connect with Reddit’s unique audiences, and widen their paid social media marketing mix by testing Reddit on multiple markets, including Germany, France, Italy and Brazil.
Hoping to see increases in traffic, sales, and more, they decided to test four markets with a streamlined budget.
Kaspersky optimized their copy and creative according to Reddit’s best practices. Given that many redditors go to Reddit with cybersecurity related questions, Kaspersky was able to use targeting efficiently and maximize scale.
Adding in Reddit’s Maximize Conversions feature helped Kaspersky deliver overall improved performance quarter-over-quarter, measured by the Reddit Pixel. After the conversion pixel was set up, Kaspersky saw significant growth in key points of measurement:
