Bungie x Reddit

tl;dr

Bungie came to their Reddit team to excite, engage, and drive pre-orders and purchases among new and existing fans for their Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. The resulting global campaign spanned ANZ, DR, FR, UK, CA, and the US. Category Takeovers were the hero of their media mix, helping to drive exceptional results on Reddit versus both social and streaming platforms. Category Takeovers targeted Reddit’s massive audience of gamers, hitting existing fans of the franchise as well as fans of Destiny 2’s game genre and some of its most popular platforms. Promoted Posts and Promoted Videos gave Redditors even more reasons to believe the hype around the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. Their bright, exciting, and dynamic visuals both managed to stand out and feel right at home for Reddit’s PC Gaming and Video Gaming enthusiasts.

"The key difference has been switching over to view-through attribution through Gamesight. Adding impression trackers has given us much greater insights into our understanding of CPA and ROAS on Reddit. The available impressions and easy-to-use ads manager has also made it a great candidate for up-weighting when we need to move around budgets."
